The Division of Nephrology Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ an open rank Transplant Nephrologist. This position offers the opportunity for the potential faculty member to join a team of nephrologists providing clinical services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital RWJUH and at the academic practices of the medical school. As an Transplant Nephrologist there will be a focus on: direct care of renal and pancreas transplant candidates recipients and living donors includes pretransplant evaluation of candidates/living donors inpatient care of transplant recipients/ living donors and posttransplant management of recipients/living donors in the outpatient clinic. assist the oncall general nephrologist for transplant related issues daily transplant teaching rounds of fellows/house staff including didactic lectures as well as interdisciplinary rounds while on the inpatient transplant service review charts laboratory studies radiology and diagnostic studies for transplant candidates and for transplant recipients and other related duties.
