As an Internal Auditor Sr you will be within PNCs Internal Audit organization supporting the IT Issues Management Audit team. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Preferred locations are listed in this requisition. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely at managers discretion.

The IT Audit Issue Management team provides a centralized service for the broader IT Audit function. Specifically the team is responsible for validating that Management selfidentified second line risk identified third line Auditidentified and regulatoridentified Technology issues have been remediated to an extent sufficient for closure. Issue subject matter may include: Technology governance access management business resiliency change management information security policy/procedure and control gaps etc.

The ideal Internal Auditor Senior IT Issue Management candidate:

Has a minimum of 2 years of experience testing Technology processes and controls
Specifically experience formulating and executing test plans in alignment with established timelines and methodology e.g. sampling approach sample size etc.
Has a natural inclination to ask questions and a proactive attitude toward tracking down answers
Is detailoriented and able to produce clear and concise documentation
Has obtained or is working toward obtaining Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification

Job Description

  • Conducts of internal audit plan by leading or conducting financial compliance or operational audit projects including the examination and evaluation of the adequacy of internal controls.
  • Independently executes audit scope objectives and work plans. Assesses risk and controls performs testing of key controls and documents results. Documents audit work demonstrating command of language clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.
  • Executes procedures supporting external audit of internal controls business processes and account balances.
  • Presents audit findings to audit management for the development of reports and recommendations.
  • Develops and maintains productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
