About The Role
As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant you will be passionate about providing one on one support to older Australians living in Townsville and surrounding suburbs. You will support our clients to continue living independently in their own homes by providing domestic assistance personal care and other social supports. This is a great opportunity for someone who is new to or wanting to get started in the industry and passionate about making a positive impact in the ageing community.
You will support multiple clients each day so a willingness to travel is essential. You will travel up to a 60km radius with your KMs reimbursed while you are working. We have Permanent Part Time and Casual opportunities available and most hours worked will be between 7am to 7pm no sleepover shifts required. If you have availability to work between 4pm and 7pm and on weekends this will be advantageous.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant preemployment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and complete an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
