Job Description

IFAB Corp. is a leading manufacturing company specializing in metal fabrication assembly and coating services. Our stateoftheart plant houses cuttingedge equipment including lasers and coil stamp machines. We take pride in our commitment to quality safety and operational excellence.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Powder Coat Painter to join our team. As a Powder Coat Painter you will be responsible for applying highquality finishes to various metal products using powder coating techniques. Your expertise in surface preparation paint application and curing processes will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of appearance durability and corrosion resistance. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the visual appeal and functionality of our products contributing to overall customer satisfaction. You will operate manual paint guns on the powder coat line as well as spraying parts.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Surface Preparation: Thoroughly clean and prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by using various methods such as cleaning agents sanding masking and other surface preparation techniques.
2.Powder Coating Application: Skillfully apply powder coatings to metal products using electrostatic spray guns ensuring even and consistent coverage while minimizing waste.
3.Curing Process: Operate curing ovens to properly cure the powder coating adhering to specified time and temperature settings to achieve the desired finish.
4.Quality Control: Inspect finished products for flaws irregularities and adherence to quality standards; perform necessary touchups or rework as needed to maintain highquality finishes.
5.Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean powder coating equipment ensuring proper functionality and safety.
6.Workplace Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while handling materials operating equipment and working in the powder coating area.

Preferred qualifications:
Candidate must have some or all of the following Educational/Technical requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or vocational training in powder coating application or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Additional training in surface preparation paint application and equipment maintenance is an advantage.
Preferred skills and abilities:
Candidate must have some or all of the following skills and abilities:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
