Job Description

Job Summary:

Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician: Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles adjusts repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans blueprints operating or repair manuals rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance
  • Collect data and performs analysis of required work
  • Identify technical problems and implement solutions as appropriate
  • Collaborate with team members on complex equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Maintain records and reports as required
  • Coordinate activities with peers supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime
  • Order and install parts
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required
  • Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed
  • Responsible for the upkeep maintenance and security of company provided tools equipment etc.
  • Responsible for following proper industry safety procedures when working with potentially dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals high voltage/high current moving mechanical parts high pressure gases hazardous gases radiation etc.
  • Must maintain personal and professional standards of conduct

Job Qualifications:

  • Ability to use intermediate math skills to analyze data
  • Ability and willingness to follow strict written operational guidelines
  • Excellent customer interface skills are required
  • Ability to work in confined areas in a clean room environment in awkward positions and at heights
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
  • May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
  • May require the use of personal protection equipment including respirator use and required fit test when appropriate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Prior experience in maintenance repair and troubleshooting
  • Strong electromechanical troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of commonly used business and technical software

Desired Background:

  • Prior experience working in a cleanroom environment
  • Minimum Education of High School Diploma required
  • Associates degree in electronics engineering or other related field of study or Military Equivalent preferred

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Salary Range:

$61600.00$82100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
