The team is responsible for shielding the companys systems from security risks while designing technology strategies that enable AIGs businesses to achieve their goals. AIGs Information Technology functions include application development and management enterprise architecture and technology risk and compliance.

How you will create an impact

The Security Remediation Teams mission is to reduce enterprise risk by identifying analyzing reporting and governing remediation/mitigation of IT security vulnerabilities across AIGs portfolio of IT assets and ITenabled processes.

  • This position within AIGs Security Remediation Team has a primary focus to operate daytoday vulnerability management governance processes within AIG
  • Responsibilities will include:
    • replace and extend current manual processes through automation or other appropriate techniques
    • manage finding and issue tracking systems and track key volumetrics and backlog
    • operate data quality controls and workflows
    • operate vulnerability discovery and riskbased prioritization processes
    • lead event management and treatment of emergent vulnerabilities
    • operate and maintain/update vulnerability management governance processes
    • engage with peers in IT architecture and operations security architecture red team effectiveness testing team hunt team CTI team SOC and other teams to remediate emergent vulnerability and to address other key tactical concerns
    • collaborate with data integration/analytics team to improve the function of and user understanding and effective utilization of the data analytics/reporting and ticketing platforms
    • apply industry experience of IT risk management and vulnerability management practices to normalize and improve AIGs process maturity

What youll need to succeed

  • 10 years of IT systems engineering or IT security engineering experience
  • Proven experience in secure design and operations of IT systems
  • Vulnerability management experience
  • IT Risk management experience a strong plus
  • Database design/implementation experience a plus
  • Strong communicator both verbal and written
  • Commitment to advancing skills in the IT risk/security field
  • Demonstrated success leveraging scripting and automation skills to improve IT processes and workflows a plus
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and analytical mindset
  • Demonstrated understanding of computer engineering fundamentals including familiarity with common offensive and defensive tactics
  • Proven success in challenging operational environments including dealing with change ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Familiarity with IP stack and related protocols a must
  • Experience in one or more of Linux Windows Active Directory Azure Directory O365
  • Familiarity with one or more of Splunk Crowdstrike Qualys Nessus/Tenable MS SQL Oracle DBMS is a plus
  • Familiarity with data integration systems and concepts is a plus
  • Incident handling/response malware analysis adversarial emulation and offensive skills are a plus
  • OSCP OSWE or OSCE certifications or equivalent demonstrated skills are a plus

For positions based in NYC the base salary range is $115000 $170000. For positions based in Jersey City the base salary range is $123000$163000 . In addition the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
