Job Description
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Banking you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
You will be working with a high performing team of software engineers mentoring & guiding junior talent building a variety of cutting edge cloud native businesscritical projects at the forefront of application development. You will be working with a larger global team to help architect develop and reengineer applications to fully leverage architecture blueprints and security standards. You will be partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver products that go beyond customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and highquality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience
- Experience in Java Spring Boot RDBMS RESTful APIs Kubernetes Kafka Cassandra Elastic Search
- Experience with SDLC CI/CD toolsets Automation standard IDEs
- Experience with Public Cloud & related Technologies (ECS S3 Lambda Elastic Search MongoDB Athena Glue)
- Experience with Agile Testdriven development.
- Indepth knowledge of various software architecture solution patterns
- Selflearner focused on quality and delivery.
- Ability to work in large collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passionate about building an innovative culture.
- Candidate musthave team management and stakeholder management experience in a diverse organization.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with Cloud computing and micro services experience.
- Exposure to cloud technologies
