The Regional Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing the upkeep of all assets managing maintenance budgets daily and preventative maintenance resources and assisting in the design costing and of maintenance and capital projects.
- Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- Maintain assets facilities inventory monitoring purchase orders invoice approvals and manage the department budget.
- Manage maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities.
- Provide training and continuous development with maintenance personnel.
- Perform Performance Evaluations on direct reports as per company policy and requirements.
- Verify performance evaluations are being performed on technical work force by his/her direct report.
- Drive preventive & planned maintenance works across the portfolio.
- Coordinating work with external contractors providing project management and ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Managing maintaining and establishing maintenance procedures for various properties across the portfolio to ensure that effective and efficient results are achieved.
- Developing and maintaining quality standards.
- Developing and maintaining associated safety standards for the portfolio
- Develop Supervisor skills by conducting training meetings; one on one development sessions; outside technical skills training; and establishing and monitoring performance.
- Setting and maintaining departmental budget by reviewing financial statements; monitoring line efficiencies; monitoring labour cost; and other expenses.
- Participate in designing and developing future projects capacities by attending meetings; coordinating with Research & Development regarding product changes and improvements; and updating maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Supervisory Responsibilities include monitoring performance of individuals and work units. This includes providing input on hiring; disciplinary actions; work objectives and their effectiveness and realigning the department as needed.
Requirements
Tertiary Qualification in Facility Management /Engineering or Project Management.
Trade and experience in relevant industry.
Five years of Maintenance Management in a Residential/Hospitality/Commercial Property Environment
Preference for experience in Facility/Maintenance Management Environment.
Safety Management and Risk Management experience
