The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Anchorage International Airport Airfield Maintenance is looking for an Administrative Officer 1 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:
Join the team that keeps one of the worlds busiest cargo hubs running! As the Administrative Officer 1 for ANCs Airfield Maintenance Section you will lead efforts to modernize asset management systems and optimize maintenance operations for the future. In this role you will analyze maintenance data track asset lifecycles and generate reports that drive multimilliondollar operational decisions. You will also play a key role in onboarding and configuring a nextgeneration Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) platform ensuring ANC remains at the forefront of datadriven airport maintenance and asset management. Your work will directly impact the efficiency reliability and longterm success of one of the worlds most important aviation hubs.

Special Note:
While the Administrative Officer 1position at Anchorage International Airport Airfield Maintenance Section does not typically require highly specialized licenses or certifications certain regulatory standards and best practices related to safety asset management and operational compliance must be followed. Below are the potential requirements tied to state or federal regulations:
1. Valid Drivers License (Class D)
2. Incumbent must pass an FBI fingerprint based criminal history records check per 49 CFR Part 1542 and a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment to obtain an Airport issued Identification Badge. If access to US Customs and Border Protection is needed to carry out duties of their job they must also pass a criminal history check per 19 CFR Part 122.181188.

The State of Alaska (SOA) uses four levels of proficiency to measure and describe an applicants level of competence in applying certain behaviors knowledge skills and abilities to accomplish a specific task. The four proficiency levels are: Mastery Fluency Literacy and Discovery. You will need to rate your proficiency level for each competency listed in the supplemental questions.
AIRPORT SECURITY BADGE
Candidates for this position must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations 49 CFR 1542 which requires fingerprinting and a criminal background check. The successful applicant must pass a fingerprintbased criminal history record check as well as a comprehensive background investigation along with a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment.Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements if applicable. If utilizing this education you must show that the education credentials have been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and that such education has been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs; or an accredited U.S. state university reports the other institution as one whose transcript is given full value or full value is given in subject areas applicable to the curricula at the state university. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
