Job Summary:
The Nursery Staff Employee is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of plants ensuring a healthy and vibrant environment. This role involves assisting customers providing plant care advice and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the nursery.
Responsibilities:
Water fertilize and prune plants as needed.
Monitor plant health and identify signs of disease or pests.
Assist customers with plant selection and provide care instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
Stock and arrange plants and merchandise.
Operate cash register and handle transactions.
Assist with inventory and receiving shipments.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
