RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to join our clients team in Germiston. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a leadership role in overseeing shift operations within a fastpaced warehouse environment. If you have strong leadership skills experience in warehouse management and a passion for driving operational excellence we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff providing guidance and support.
- Monitor workflow ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct shift handovers and report operational challenges or improvements.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to maintain stock accuracy.
- Identify training needs and support staff development.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- A diploma or certification in Supply Chain Logistics or a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a highpaced environment.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
