Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENT:
Our client located in the scenic wine valley of Franschhoek is seeking an outstanding Afrikaansspeaking Cost Accountant. The ideal candidate will be personable detailoriented and passionate about overseeing all aspects of a businesss costing administration to become part of their team.
DUTIES:
- Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.
- Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
- Update BOMs as necessary.
- Assist with stock counts.
- Load cost estimates/quotes.
- Assist with recons/schedules.
- Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
- Maintain inventory and products.
- Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing.
- At least 3 4 years experience in costing with retail concern.
- Experience using ERP systems.
- Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.
- Experience using Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
