Job Description
We aim to attract applicants who can teach in a diverse University community and have demonstrated ability in helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed. Typical instructors will: Design and/or deliver Liberal Studies/ Liberal Studies Online courses as assigned. If teaching online complete specialized online training peer mentor training and regularly attend online workshops. Assist with curriculum and/or course development when applicable. Collaborate with other faculty to ensure consistent standards across courses. Participate in faculty meetings when called. Participate in program and university assessment of student learning outcomes. Hold appropriate office hours/ availability for student questions and concerns. Meet & collaborate regularly with and evaluate peer leaders/ mentors if one is assigned to your section.
