Job Description
Why Ballys:
Ballys Corporation is a global casinoentertainment company with a growing omnichannel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a firstinclass sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.
With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
As a Security Shift Manager you will provide strategic direction and guidance to the Security function and activities to increase customer satisfaction and ensure internal controls and safety measures are effectively enforced. You will become the liaison with federal state and local law enforcement and emergency agencies. You will exercise good judgment in the review of circumstances and incidents to determine appropriate actions within the limits of policies procedures and protocol.
Responsibilities:
Foster an environment that embodies Ballys Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a funfilled entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Ballys customercentric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building longlasting guest relations
Responsible for the overall security operations in the absence of the Director of Public Safety
Establish implement and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements Company initiatives and organizational goals
Select train and develop team members through education training coaching and corrective action
Review investigate and implement corrective plans on all incident medical and surveillance reports to ensure departmental compliance with internal controls policies and all applicable regulations
In the absence of or when directed by the Director of Public Safety perform system administration to the Electronic Key Control System
Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB statewide voluntary SelfExclusion Program as
Assist in arrests or physically restraining a resistant individual as needed
Support the overall integrity of gaming at the casino
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
A high school diploma or equivalent with five years of law enforcement security or casino securityrelated experience is required
A bachelors degree with ten years of law enforcement or an equivalent role of casino security in like position is preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to interact with a variety of people
Must have flexible availability with scheduling including shifts and days off
Must be able to adapt and thrive in a a fluid highstress and fastpaced environment
Must have outstanding organizational skills
Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Requires strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Frequently required to walk run kneel stretch push twist bend and lift
Requires visual acuity to perform closeup activities and peripheral oversight
Requires manual dexterity to operate a keyboard
Must be able to read speak and correspond in the English language
