Job Description
Adjunct instructors will be expected to teach courses in art education. Current areas in need include: 2D materials and techniques for K12; 3D materials and techniques for K12; and clinical experience. Other opportunities may exist to teach studio art or art appreciation courses depending on the departments scheduling and the instructors skillset.
Physical Demands
Sitting standing moving and some lifting.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must satisfy one of the following requirements: 1 a masters degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching; 2 enrolled in a masters program with at least 18 hours of relevant coursework completed; 3 significant professional experience subject to approval by the Provost. Licensure is also expected.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree with K12 teaching experience. Teaching experience at the college level including as a graduate teaching assistant is also preferred.
Work Schedule
As assigned. Possible nights and weekends
