VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
SCHOOL YEAR 2025-2026
POSITION: Special Education Classroom Aide
LOCATION: Pewitt Elementary School
Position Summary: Assist teacher in providing students with appropriate instruction to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Position Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Have met formal academic assessment or associates degree
Classroom experience preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
