Job Description
Our client is seeking a passionate and resultsdriven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead the development implementation and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives at their injection molding manufacturing facility. This role focuses on driving operational excellence reducing waste improving efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead and mentor crossfunctional teams in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive measurable results.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish KPIs and performance metrics.
- Process Optimization
- Identify and analyze inefficiencies in production quality and supply chain processes specific to injection molding.
- Facilitate Kaizen events Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis to address bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Optimize mold changeover processes to reduce downtime and increase machine utilization.
- Training & Development
- Conduct training sessions for employees at all levels on Lean principles Six Sigma tools and problemsolving techniques.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement by empowering employees to identify opportunities and implement changes.
- DataDriven Improvement
- Analyze production data to identify trends establish baselines and monitor the impact of improvement initiatives.
- Sustainability & Compliance
- Ensure all continuous improvement initiatives comply with safety environmental and industry regulations.
- Promote sustainable manufacturing practices to reduce waste and energy consumption.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in injection molding.
- Proven track record of leading Lean and Six Sigma projects (certification preferred: Green Belt Black Belt or Lean Sensei).
- Experience with injection molding equipment materials and process troubleshooting.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities.
- Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and ERP/MES systems.
