Responsibilities:

As our first APAC Account Manager at Vertice youll play a key commercial role focused on driving renewals and expansion across our APAC customer base. Youll work closely with Csuite stakeholders to ensure they see ongoing value from our product while internally reporting to our VP of Customer Success & Account Management. This is a strategic position with a focus on strengthening longterm customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.

  • Participate in the endtoend existing customer relationship ensuring customer retention renewal and upsell/cross sell of the entire Vertice portfolio.
  • Accurately maintain forecast of your territory and communicate any retention risk to internal resources in order to develop resolution strategies.
  • In collaboration with Customer Success ensure customer satisfaction and delight through leveraging our product solutions to solve/support customer business priorities.
  • Prospect heavily within your install base of accounts and create netnew sales pipeline.
  • You will work closely with the Customer Success and wider Sales team through the customer lifecycle from onboarding through to renewal and beyond.

Requirements:

  • 7 years commercial experience.
  • Individual Contributor mindset you are happy to be handson and be the start of a new function at Vertice.
  • Ideally you will have ambition to expand this part of the business in future.
  • Experience working in a competitive category where every renewal is a potential competition.
  • You have worked with a range of customers particularly enterprise and midsized.
  • Demonstrable track record of repeatedly meeting and exceeding quota and net revenue retention goals.
  • You are a clear confident and compelling communicator in writing in conversation and in front of customers.

Nice to haves:

  • You have experience in companies selling Sales tools or similar particularly if you were not the market leader.
  • Experience working in a SaaS company or fast growing startup.
  • You are resourceful spy and creative if a playbook doesnt exist yet you go figure it out and build it.
  • Superb listening skills and the ability to dig deeper to uncover the customers true objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct compelling presentations to senior customer stakeholders.
