Join our experienced Global Customer Support Team in Vancouver Canada!
Are you passionate about customer support and technical troubleshooting ChartWorld are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Global Customer Support Team providing worldclass support to our clients in the merchant shipping industry worldwide. This position is based in Vancouver working 40 hours per week including weekends (Thursday/Friday: 8 hours each Saturday/Sunday: 12 hours each).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer support to our global clients.
Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Register and manage cases within prescribed KPIs using the CRM tool Salesforce.
Support customers with chart loading issues.
Assist existing customers with chart sales and quotations.
Manage software registration and activation.
Update and manage the FAQ/Knowledge base and monitor PAYS position reporting.
Collaborate with other departments including sales technical support and product development to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Actively participate in 24/7 support shifts via phone and email.
Be an independent learner and a great team player.
Job Qualifications:
Ideally hold a degree or equivalent diploma in Marine IT electronics or similar fields.
Interest in shipping and navigation.
Desire to learn on the job and participate in training.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a customerfocused mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Empathetic demeanour and ability to handle confidential data.
Excellent communication skills via phone and email.
Good IT knowledge and preferably experience with a CRM system.
Proficiency in English both spoken and written is a must.
Experience in marine industry and/or customer facing experience is an advantage.
Nautical Watchkeeping Certificate / Customer Service Experience / Technical Service is an advantage.
This position requires access to exportcontrolled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

$40100.00$53400.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
