We are is seeking FullTime PartTime Overnight and OnCall Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide medical services at our group homes in the community and residential centers on campus by conducting weekly assessments. LVNs will monitor medications and logs provide medication and universal precaution training. The LVNs primary job goal is to assure that the highest degree of quality care and services can be maintained at all times.
$1000 SIGNON BONUS 50 paid after 3 months and remaining 50 paid after 6 months; excluding OnCall)
Shifts Available:
1 FullTime NOC 4 nights/weekly variable days
1 FullTime AM Tuesday Saturday 7am 5pm
1 PartTime PM 24 hours/week Thursday Saturday
1 OnCall as needed
Major Responsibilities:
- Medication distribution and healthcare management of residents.
- Make written and verbal reports/recommendations to the Director of Nursing concerning the operation of the nursing unit/shift.
- Monitor residents to assure that personnel are properly administering prescribed treatment.
- Chart nurses progress in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided as well as the residents response to the care.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Active California LVN license required.
- CPR certification required.
- 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
- Pediatrics Group homes Psychiatric or Diabetic Care experience preferred.
- Willingness and ability to make frequent field visits attend meetings conferences and other job related events away from headquarters. If driving a personal or agency vehicle must be insurable by our agencys automobile insurance carrier.
