- Daily reconciliation and completion of the Preliminary Report.
- Complete daily reports to include but not limited to lost empty location and bump out reports.
- Run Inventory Reports.
- Cycle count. Note: The volume of cycle counts daily is determined by the number of locations in the warehouse and number of working days in the year. The volume may fluctuate depending on productivity and other business requirements that are prioritized
- Ad hoc inventory reconciliation; work with the Production Warehouse team and the Cold Storage team to ensure accurate inventory.
- Gather requested information for all High Liner Departments as assigned by Inventory Analyst or Manager Inventory Control.
- Document and report safety concerns in the warehouse especially upper level racks.
- Clean upper level racks of debris while cycle counting.
- Accurate cycle counts with extraordinary attention to detail. Inform management of any systematic or physical obstructions to meeting cycle count quotas.
- Support warehouse as needed.
- Research and reconcile warehouse variances as they occur during receiving shipping WO transactions.
- Monitor identify and resolve FIFO issues with a focus on Aged Inventory management.
- Assist with systematic and physical disposal of approved obsolete aged and rejected material
- Assist with counting inventory to resolve customer and freight claims
- Assist as needed with Inventory Control functions.
- Assist Analyst Supervisor and/or Manager of Inventory Control with internal and external audits.
- Communicate verbally or electronically in a professional manner with other departments including Production Warehouse & Logistics Sales Quality Assurance and more.
Qualifications Required:
- HS. diploma or GED (some college coursework preferred).
- Previous High lift (Preferred) or Forklift experience
- Ability to count accurately with no margin for error.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience with an AS 400 based WMS or other WMS including RF tools
- Welldeveloped and demonstrated organization problem solving attention to detail interpersonal negotiation and communications skills.
- Ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions and communicate fluently in English.
- Reliability in attendance and performance.
- Flexibility and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to work overtime as required including some Saturdays and as needed during physical inventories.
- Ability to lift 66 lbs
- Ability to work for extended periods in a cold environment 10F).
- Ability to work for extended periods of time in warm environments (outside ambient)
