What youll be doing in this role

This is a 12month fulltime role providing care for critically ill patients in the ICU under supervision. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team at an accredited training site and develop your knowledge and skills in Intensive Care medicine.

This position at Sydney Adventist Hospital provides an exciting opportunity to work in a busy private department with firstclass facilities and a great team of medical nursing and allied health staff.

Who we are looking for:

  • Youll have MBBS or equivalent with at least 2 years post graduate experience with at least 3 months of ICU or other critical care experience.

Additionally the following are essential requirements:

  • Youll have full Australian Working Rights
  • Youll be an AHPRA Registered Medical Practitioner
  • Youll have exceptional verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating with patients their families visitors and colleagues
  • Youll have the demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Youll have proven competency in clinical skills including the management of clinical emergencies.
  • Youll show commitment to critical care medicine through either teaching junior doctors engaging in quality activities pursuing professional development showing commitment to enter the ICU training program or already be an ICU trainee.

What to expect
