Location: Sydney NSW
Salary Package: $125 $130K Super
Role highlights: Hands on Financial Reporting role for well known brand.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager this role is being recruited to supplement the existing team. There is fluidity in this team as it is often seen as a good entry point to the business and has a history of producing opportunities for candidates to move into more business facing and commercial roles. This particular role will be key in contributing to the Year End and HalfYear Close as well as being involved in process improvement projects around financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain exposure in an ASX listed business and work within a highperformingteam.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the annual report and halfyear report to an external release standard
- Presentation of Financial Reports and Accounting papers to Audit & Risk Committee
- Review monthly financial statements of wholly owned subsidiaries
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and preparation of monthly journals
- Adhoc reporting improvement projects
Candidate Profile
The client is only looking for profiles of candidates who have recent experience within a Big 4 firm for role.
It serves as a great opportunity for a CA Qualified Accountant to pick up technical Accounting responsibilities. If you have previous exposure to any process or reporting improvement projects this will be viewed positively.
