We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join our esteemed client at a vibrant independent specialist day school in Crosby Liverpool. This role requires working in a dynamic environment dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students who are neurodivergent with diverse Speech and Language and Communication needs (SLCN). Our clients dedicated team works collaboratively to foster an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. The warm and nurturing school supports up to 90 children and young people aged between 716 years in small classes of 6 pupils.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will work with all our pupils across the age range supporting the assessment diagnosis and treatment of children with communication needs. You will manage your own caseload and be expected to work flexibly providing therapy services to pupils according to clinical need. You will actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings staff meetings supervision training and annual appraisals and develop the learning environment and support programme.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Experience with young people with ASC needs.
  • Supervision and training staff experience.
  • Masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in speech and language therapy services.
  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
