Job Description
Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Construction Estimator in Pretoria. We are seeking a highly skilled and detailoriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of construction projects and providing timely and competitive bids to clients
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project plans specifications and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor materials and equipment
Develop competitive bid proposals for construction projects
Work closely with project managers subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely bids
Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle
Identify costsaving opportunities and value engineering solutions
Attend prebid meetings and site visits as needed
Requirements:
Relevant Site Construction experience is needed
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry
Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam Procore or RSMeans
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus
