Ideal Candidate:
High school diploma or GED required.
NM Journeyman Electrician (EE98J) license required.
At least 3 to 5 years of electrical work experience and the ability to perform general maintenance duties as assigned preferably in Healthcare industry.
Must have a valid NM drivers license and be insurable.

Education Essential:High School Diploma or GED
Credentials Essential:Journeyman Electrical License
Responsibilities
- Perform Preventative maintenance procedures on fixtures and equipment within a predetermined Zone in a timely manner.
- Primary responsibility and accountability for performing repairs lubrication and adjustment on all hospital equipment.
- Prioritization of tasks and methods with a great deal of independence to operate within established PHS and Facility Services policies procedures and schedules.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of building and utility systems in assigned zones.
- Know understand and adhere to PHS and Department Policies and Procedures
- Constantly improve technical knowledge and skills through participation in educational programs and inservice meetings.
- Understand department operating budget and suggest methods to assure that operations are within budget.
- Serve as a resource to departments within zone in the area of facility maintenance operations
- Support organizational visions values and strategies
- Maintains applicable licensure as Electrician
- Periodic rounds in assigned areas
- Performs installations and repairs of equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints codes and other associated documents to complete jobs
- Perform routine and urgent maintenance requests
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
