Job Description

School CounselorRIS/RMS/RHS Allen Street CampusA dynamic organized student and familycentered school counselor is needed to work with students who have emotional and behavioral challenges at the Rutland Intermediate Middle and High Schools Allen Street Campus. Applicants must possess knowledge of trauma crisis intervention and diverse learning styles and be able to apply counseling theories and techniques for individuals groups and families. The successful candidate must work as a part of a team in assisting students and family members in problemsolving communication and positive relationships.Successful applicants must have three years of experience and have a strong background in an educational setting. A Masters Degree and a current educational license through the Agency of Education are required. Position to commence on August 20 2025.Rutland is a unique community in both its location and spirit offering people all the amenities of a city minutes away from the heart of the Green Mountains. We are only fifteen minutes from the Appalachian and Long Trail twenty minutes from Killington Ski Resort and in close proximity to many other recreational opportunities.Only completed online applications at SchoolSpring will be accepted.
