Responsibilities
- Communicate with business unit management and staff to coordinate and complete all aspects of the consolidated operation.
- Conduct ongoing communication with Board of Directors Senior management and appropriate divisional personnel.
- Educate both employees and patrons of the business objectives to enhance employee effectiveness and improve customer relations.
- Evaluate patron credit needs and extend credit in accordance with company policies.Monitor credit liability and manage the collection of accounts receivable.
- Keep abreast of industry trends or changes to accurately answer patron inquiries.
- Manage the business unit operation according to company objectives to provide patrons with prompt courteous and effective service while maintaining the efficiency necessary to achieve a maximum margin of profit.
- Manage theworkforce through responsible training and clear job assignment definition and explanation including organizational chart job descriptions and regular employee reviews (annual).
- Utilize team / personnel within business unit to maximize profitabilityas a company.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 10 years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
- Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities
Additional Qualifications
- Agriculture retail experience in Operations or Sales/Marketing/Merchandising
- Ability to make decisions and work effectively both independently and with a team
- Detail oriented with strong communication skills both verbal and written with an ability to influence others
- Possess strong negotiation public relations and organizational skills
- Bachelors degree preferred in Business or Agriculture related program
- Coop experience preferred

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and depending upon position may include other earnings such as bonus incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include without limitation experience education training specialized skills and certifications.
