The Medical Equipment Technician II provides costeffective maintenance on company and customerowned medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly following manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification preventive maintenance and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Conduct costeffective equipment inspection maintenance calibration and repair service on various medical devices including medical beds infusion pumps patient monitoring equipment etc.
  • Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features functionality etc.

What You Will Need for This Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in both movable medical equipment (MME) and patient handling equipment (PHE).
  • Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
  • Must hold a current valid and unrestricted drivers license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for servicing medical devices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as well as emergency offhours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
  • The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
  • The ability to often bend stoop twist climb crouch/squat kneel/crawl sit stand and walk for extended periods of time.
