Job Description
Job Opening: Field Technician
Our client is a leading provider of custom polyurethane reactive injection molding equipment. They are currently in need of a Field Technician who can bring together expertise in mechanical electrical electronic and chemical fields to service troubleshoot install and repair custom pumps and related equipment. This equipment plays a crucial role in the production of various products like car parts cold box containers and prefabricated walls among others.
Responsibilities:
- Service troubleshoot install and repair custom pumps and related equipment.
- Travel to various locations for service and installation work.
- Work with highly technical measurement and ingredient-specific processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Stay organized and manage tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with polyurethane manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of precision custom systems that supply raw material mix for processing.
- Experience with controls dispensers flow meters and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with chemicals used in polyurethane production such as isocyanates and catalysts.
- Electrical knowledge for adapting control systems (60Hz vs. 50Hz).
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
