Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join our client in the Packaging Industrys team. Our client is a reputable company in need of a dedicated and experienced Fitter & Turner to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in their workshop.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Fabricate components for breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks
- Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment
- Setup and operate various machines such as lathes milling machines and grinders
- Perform drilling and machining tasks
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workshop
- Adhere to safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Grade 12
- N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
- Fitter & Turner Trade Test Certificate
- 3 5 years of experience in a Packaging / FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in operating machines such as lathes milling machines and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Attention to detail and quality
