Pay: $23.34$30/hour BOE
Location: Sand Springs OK
Hours: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM (Weekend shift must include Friday Saturday Sunday and two additional weekdays)

We are seeking an experienced Fitter for a client in Sand Springs specializing in pressure vessels and heat exchangers. The ideal Fitter will have a minimum of five years experience fitting metal components to meet set standards and codes ensuring the assembly and manufacturing of high-quality products. This position requires strong blueprint reading skills advanced welding and cutting techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities for the Fitter:
- Fit and assemble metal components for pressure vessels and heat exchangers according to standards and codes.
- Operate oxy/fuel cutting torches and Plas-Arc machines proficiently.
- Read and interpret AutoCAD prints for required specifications and dimensions.
- Tack weld per code and within welding procedure requirements.
- Apply advanced math and geometry skills to ensure precise fitment.
- Execute tasks with minimal supervision safely and efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
- Maintain less than a 5% fit-up rejection rate consistently.
- Exhibit punctuality dependability and a willingness to work outside standard hours as needed.
