Hire Resolves Client are a leading mining company in Mpumalanga specializing in the extraction and processing of various minerals.
Job Description:
As a Winder Fitter you will be responsible for the maintenance repair and installation of winding equipment in our mining operations. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the winding systems. Your duties will include inspecting equipment for defects troubleshooting mechanical issues performing routine maintenance tasks and adhering to safety regulations at all times.
Hire Resolves Client is urgently looking for an experienced Winder Fitter to join their operations in Mpumalanga!
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Inspections: Conduct daily and weekly inspections of winders and other equipment
- Production: Monitor and control production processes
- Breakdown maintenance: Assist with and monitor breakdown maintenance
- Reporting: Report mechanical breakdowns and problems to supervisors
- Safety: Ensure safe operation of the shaft winder
- Fitting: Perform fitting work to support maintenance diagnostics and repairs
- Scheduling: Adhere to maintenance and production schedules
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- A Valid Fitter Trade Certificate
- 5 years experience in a mining environment
- Experience on the following: Multistage Pumps Winders Battery Locomotives Diesel locomotives Slurry Pumps & Settlers Dewatering Pumps C5 Submersible and Spindle Pumps and Chairlift
