As a Finance Operations Manager: Treasury you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient of treasury processes maintaining cash flow optimizing working capital and managing financial risk. Youll be supporting the delivery of timeously financial information to senior management and shareholders of the organisation to assist with their decisionmaking processes. This will help us excel to stay ahead of the game.
What youll be doing
As part of your role your responsibilities will include:
Treasury Operations
Ensure the timely of imports and posts to all banks.
In conjunction with third party providers prepare and calculate settlements.
Review and approve journals as well as trade and transfer requests.
Oversee daily cash management activities including cash forecasting.
Manage relationships with banks negotiate terms and optimise the use of banking services.
Ensure processor settlements are posted and matched timeously and accurately.
Reporting & Analysis
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all Income Statement and Balance sheet reconciliations.
Conduct weekly reviews of Processor Settlement Open Items escalating any outstanding settlements.
Effectively plan and manage month end deadline and deliverables.
Provide analytical review and commentary on monthly quarterly half year and annual reporting.
Internal and External Audit
Work closely with the Statutory team to manage audit requirements and queries from external auditors.
Prepare and review internal and external audit schedules.
Conduct analytical review and commentary on balance movements related to Banks Vendors and GL accounts for the Treasury Team.
System Improvement
Evaluate and implement improvements to the treasury systems tools and processes to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure compliance with internal controls regulatory requirements and company policies including SOX compliance.
Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of treasury accountants fostering a collaborative and performance driven environment.
Coordinate functions in the team to ensure that all team members are working effectively and can deliver all tasks and reporting timeously.
Undertake biannual team appraisals and performance development reviews.

Essential skills youll bring to the table
The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
Experience working collaboratively in crossfunctional teams with a focus on achieving shared goals
Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
Exceptional attention to detail ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business or related field
Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams
Proficiency in financial management systems enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
At least 5 7 years of experience in treasury management or finance operations with a focus on cash management liquidity and risk management
Solid understanding of banking practices financial regulations and corporate finance
Desirable skills youve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Central
Experience in FloQast
Experience in IBM Planning Analytics/TM1/Cognos
