What You Will Do:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inspector at our growing facility in Grand Prairie TX. Dallas Airfoil Repair Operations a recognized leader in refurbishment of aeroengine and Industrial Gas Turbine airfoilsis looking for dedicated individuals to support our organization. - Performs final inspection functions of material and nonproduct.
- Plan inspection sequence and inspection layouts and use a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment to perform less complex inspection operations.
- Align with all training required including warehouse procedures in receiving receivein inspection and materials handling procedures.
- Work with the Materials organization to troubleshoot materials issues.
- Assign incoming nonconforming parts and nonproduct items to the appropriate warehouse location to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Perform and assist in warehouse and engine logistics.
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by following all policies and procedures completing all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities
- Dispositions components for airworthiness by completing 8130 certificates
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High school graduate or GED
- US Citizenship or Permanent resident status due to government contracts and or regulations
- Minimum 2 years experience in inspection of aeroengine component repair
Qualifications We Prefer:
- 5 years experience in quality inspection of aeroengine components
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with SAP

Pratt & Whitney Grand Prairie TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportations Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.
