Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and repair machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to detect and prevent issues before they occur
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently adhering to all safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and resolve technical issues
- Work with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Requirements:
- Trade Certificate as a Millwright or equivalent Trade Certificate
- 12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the steel industry
- Familiarity with mechanical systems hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
