The position will involve working closely with the School Fiscal Officer to manage the departments financial administration and compliance. Manage and/or reconcile credit card transactions. Act as the human resources liaison to manage employment transactions. Successful candidates must meet minimum qualifications of either of the following positions. Administrative Services Officer I position information: FLSA Status: NonExempt Salary Grade: 10 Salary Range: $50000 $55000 depending on experience. Administrative Services Officer II position information: FLSA Status: NonExempt Salary Grade: 11 Salary Range: $55000 $65000 depending on experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Administrative Services Officer I Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and handle general office duties and administrative tasks independently including special projects. Submit purchase orders and business reimbursements. Manage and assist with faculty and staff hiring. Manage and assist with hiring budget transfers and other financial duties associated with awards and grants management. Reconcile One Card expenses and submit report statements for approval. Track expenses and complete monthly account reconciliations timely for accuracy and validity with sound financial business practices and appropriate internal controls. Meet multiple deadlines exercise initiative and judgment over nonroutine administrative tasks prioritize and foster good working relationships. Assure compliance with university policies and procedures particularly related to financials travel and procurement. Interpret administrative policies and regulations to faculty staff and students. Train and supervise new staff for department development. Proactive in identifying potential issues and ability to continually assess operations and processes to improve efficiencies. Supervise employees as needed or assigned. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Administrative Services Officer II Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes Administrative Services Officer I Essential Duties and Responsibilities as needed. Serve as a lead administrative staff team member and administrative support for the daytoday operations. Plan and assist in the coordination of the business management administrative and staff services. Supervise employees as needed or assigned and engage in obtaining & dispersing information departmentally. Manage the department annual budget. Meet multiple deadlines exercise initiative and judgment over nonroutine administrative tasks prioritize and foster good working relationships. Assure compliance with university policies and procedures particularly related to financials travel and procurement. Interpret administrative policies and regulations to faculty staff and students. Train and supervise new staff for department development. Proactive in identifying potential issues and ability to continually assess operations and processes to improve efficiencies. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
