University School of Nashville seeks a Head High School Girls Soccer coach for the 2025 fall season. The goal of the schools athletics department is to create a positive environment that reflects transformational coaching. The position calls for excellent teamwork with colleagues and incorporates best practices into a growthoriented teaching style in a K12 school environment.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in coaching and teaching the game of soccer. They should also align with our schools values and mission for fostering the best in educational practices and striving for excellence while meeting each students athletic potential. Our soccer team has a wide range of abilities and experience. We are looking for a coach who can meet the needs of all of our students to grow a love of the sport and create an inclusive supportive and competitive team environment.
The girls soccer season for TSSAA is in the fall with summer training opportunities expected during June and July for this position. The season officially begins in early August with practices and games through the end of Octoberearly November depending on postseason play. Practice occurs daily from 3:004:30 at our USN River Campus.
This position has the potential to transition into a fulltime role if the candidate is also interested in the Physical Education Teacher position currently posted on our job board.Please apply if through the Physical Education Teacher as well. The School
University School of Nashville is an independent nonsectarian coeducational day school with enrollment of over 1000 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. In 1915 the George Peabody College for Teachers opened Peabody Demonstration School USNs predecessor which earned acclaim for its curriculum and faculty. In 1974 Peabody College announced plans to close PDS and a group of parents alumni students and teachers reconstituted and rechartered the school as University School of Nashville.
