Job Description:
6Hammers Inc is a leading construction and remodeling company located in the Bay Area. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction and Remodeling Foreman to lead our construction teams in various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and remodeling excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering highquality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Supervision:
- Oversee and lead a team of construction workers carpenters and other skilled tradesmen.
- Assign tasks set work schedules and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure that quality standards are met.
- Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and promote a safe working environment ensuring that all workers adhere to safety regulations and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety meetings and training as needed.
- Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers to plan and organize construction and remodeling projects.
- Order materials equipment and supplies as required for each project.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and manage project budgets effectively.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect work to ensure that it meets quality standards and complies with project specifications and plans.
- Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers clients and subcontractors.
- Report project progress issues and changes to upper management as necessary.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve constructionrelated problems obstacles and challenges as they arise.
- Make decisions onsite to keep projects on track.
- Training and Development:
- Mentor and train construction workers and apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and remodeling with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Proficient in project management and budgeting.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Reliable organized and detailoriented.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
