Systems Administrator Business Systems
Fastly Business Systems team is looking for a Systems Administrator Salesforce with strong Service Cloud experience. This role will be responsible for the day to day support of our Salesforce user community. We manage the systems that encompass the entire buyers journey from initial lead through marketing sales renewal accounting customer success and advocacy using tools including Marketo Salesforce LogiSense and NetSuite. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of solving business problems and implementing solutions in Salesforce and its ecosystem from endtoend working with both internal (and sometimes external) stakeholders. This role reports to the GotoMarket Systems Operations Manager.
What Youll Do:
Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations including CPQ configuration custom fields and objects layouts workflows flows validation rules roles profiles permissions and so forth.
Implement and maintain integrations to related business systems including: Marketo LeanData Outreach Gainsight Xactly Drift Bizible Docusign and homegrown systems
Provide support to end users of Salesforce and related systems for escalated issues.
Simplify enhance and modernize existing features.
Participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for systems changes and enhancements.
Monitor performance and scalability and refactor implementations when indicated.
Improve the overall quality and completeness of documentation.
Partner with developers and business systems analysts to establish workarounds reproduction of issues root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement.
Identify timeconsuming internal processes and assist in building reliable scalable and maintainable solutions to automate them.
Manage fastchanging priorities in a dynamic environment to deliver the most impactful solutions to business stakeholders
What Were Looking For:
5 years experience as a Salesforce administrator or similar role.
Ability to juggle several simultaneous customization projects from endtoend including validating requirements designing/developing the solution and working with stakeholders to roll out the solution.
Proficiency with Salesforce including a strong understanding of security and customization capabilities across Sales Cloud Service Cloud CPQ and the overall Force platform in a Lightningbased environment.
Demonstrable experience customizing the platform based on user requirements including custom fields and objects and layouts along with automation capabilities such as flows validation rules and security.
Knowledge of Salesforce permissions roles reports dashboards and logical formulas.
History of working with Salesforce developers or external contract teams to implement more complex solutions which require code development.
Prior experience in a SaaS or usage/consumptionbased business preferred.
An understanding of B2B LeadtoQuote and QuotetoCash processes and how these processes are managed in a Salesforce environment.
Ability to meet deadlines communicate delays and clarify ambiguous requirements.
Exceptional communicator strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Selfmotivated creative person with analytical problemsolving organizational and interpersonal skills and an ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
Basic understanding of database and integration approaches.
Be able to write medium complexity SOQL queries
Well be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
Specific experience implementing 3rd party apps from the AppExchange within SFDC as well as integrations with external 3rd party applications (such as Marketo LeanData Outreach Workato ZoomInfo Bizible etc..
Current Salesforce Certification(s) Salesforce Administrator Sales Cloud Consultant and Service Cloud Consultant Trailhead profile or Salesforce community involvement.
Implementation and maintenance of production monitoring or event management tools such as Splunk Graphana Prometheus and so forth as applied to Salesforce.
Use of configuration management and/or seeding tools as applicable for Salesforce such as Gearset github and Prodly.
Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours as well as an on call rotation.

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $114200 to $137040. Starting salary may vary based on permissible nondiscriminatory factors such as experience skills qualifications and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastlys equity and discretionary bonus programs.
