Job Description
This is a 12month position reporting to a Division Chair. This faculty position will be instrumental in the planning program development and of a new masters entry program in nursing MEPN at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. The fixed term faculty member may have teaching responsibilities in didactic clinical laboratory and/or simulation settings across the School of Nursing based on programmatic needs and area(s) of expertise. In addition to their role in program development the faculty member may serve as course coordinator oversee advisement of masters thesis projects serve on BSN MSN DNP and/or PhD committees. Additional service and scholarship commensurate with rank.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience in curricular design and evaluation with knowledge of accreditation standards for nursing education. Certified Nurse Educator CNE Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl) or Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator CHSE .
