Job Summary

The Talent Management Program Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing talent management programs across the organization. This position will take a holistic approach to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of talent management strategies including skills development performance management succession planning onboarding and development programs. The Talent Management Program Manager will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners Professional Development Consultants and other stakeholders to align talent initiatives with business goals and drive organizational success. This position reports to the Director of Professional Development.

Talent Management Across the Employee Lifecycle

  • Design templates resources tools data dashboards and toolkits to support talent management efforts.

  • Deliver cuttingedge research and consultation to Centers of Excellence COEs ensuring Mountain America is at the forefront of the Talent Management field.

Skills Strategy

  • Own and develop the organizations Talent Intelligence and Skills Strategy working alongside product managers to manage the technology supporting skills development.

  • Ensure employees are setting and achieving development goals that expand their skills within their current roles and skills that prepare them for career advancement.

Succession Strategy & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage the Succession Strategy to ensure leaders have the tools and resources necessary for effective succession planning.

  • Manage the Accelerated Development program that identifies High Potential (HIPO) team members and partner with leaders to ensure they have development plans in place access to quality development programs and are including experiential learning opportunities.

Performance Management

  • Responsible for the performance management process from endtoend partnering with other key stakeholders who support the process to ensure the performance management philosophy is achieving business goals.

  • Ensure consistency and effectiveness in performance management practices across the organization including the goal setting process checkins and calibration.

Consulting and Collaboration

  • Coordinate with HR Business Partners and Professional Development Consultants to ensure alignment and effective implementation of talent management strategies.

  • Consult with business leaders to understand their talent management needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide consultation and recommendations around Workforce Planning focusing on skills and competencies for the workforce of the future.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of talent management programs and provide insights for continuous improvement.

  • Report on key talent management metrics to HR/TMD leadership and relevant stakeholders.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Onboarding

  • Analyze the onboarding programs to ensure new team members have a positive and seamless onboarding experience.

  • Analyze onboarding metrics and provide insights and recommendations to leaders and key stakeholders to continuously improve the onboarding process.

Employee Development

  • Provide consultation and feedback for development programs including leadership development and skills training programs.

  • Collaborate with Professional Development Consultants to design and implement effective development initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS and ABILITIES

Experience

  • 7 or more years of Human Resource / Talent Management / Talent Development experience with a strong preference of having led organizational design and talent management initiatives.

  • Maintain a solid understanding of talent management across the employee lifecycle including recruiting onboarding development performance and succession.

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in developing and implementing strategic recruitment processes including sourcing interviewing and selecting top talent to meet organizational needs and align with longterm business goals.

  • Strong strategic thinking and consulting skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Proficiency in HR technology and data analytics.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Organizational Effectiveness Business Administration or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Licenses Certificates Registrations

  • HR / Talent Development certification/designation PHR SPHR CPTD a plus

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Knowledge of Workday programs preferred.

  • Knowledge of LMS systems preferred.

Managerial Responsibility

  • Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities
