Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Procurement Officer to join our Property Management team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring goods and services negotiating contracts and ensuring costeffective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards.

DUTIES
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Oversee the procurement of building maintenance services office supplies utilities and other propertyrelated goods and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and procurement best practices.
  • Manage purchase orders track deliveries and resolve any supplier issues or discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Property Managers Facilities teams and Finance to optimize procurement processes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and assess costsaving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records including contracts pricing and supplier agreements.
  • Stay updated on market trends and pricing to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Project Management


Requirements


  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years of procurement experience preferably within the property management real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • MDA Property Management Systeme Experience essential
  • Familiarity with propertyrelated procurement (e.g. building maintenance utilities and service contracts).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and industry best practices.
