Job Description
The Director of Continuing Medical Education and Preceptor Development shall have the responsibility of ensuring best practices in the management learning and development of educational strategies delivery processes and quality highlevel innovative activities/programs for continuing medical education programs and preceptor faculty development across several health profession disciplines.
Required Qualifications
*Masters in education communications curriculum and instruction or related field; *at least 4 years experience at managerial level and at least 4 years in undergraduate or graduate medical education; *strong computer skills including Microsoft office and elearning systems; *proficient in pedagogical principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral level degree in education communications curriculum and instruction or related field; *Experience in a distance learning/communitybased environment. Competent in the management and delivery of enterprise Learning Management Systems including ecommerce instructional design and content development of courses. Working knowledge of webbased emarketing tools including Constant Contact and Survey Monkey educational research and scholarly activity and teaching and learning inquiry. Certified Health Care Professional CHCP . this shows meeting minimal competency for the CME profession)
