Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Through the use of MS Outlook and Excel will review shipments of asphaltic materials and schedule random samples of such.
- Log in and track samples being received.
- Through onthejob training will use analytical laboratory equipment to conduct basic tests of asphaltic materials and help with cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High school education or the equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education or experience in highway construction inspection or working in a general laboratory environment.
- Experience in inventory tracking.
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook.
Other: Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to safely move drag lift load and unload various materials and supplies with or without assistance.
- Ability to multitask sample tracking and testing.
- Must be familiar with typing.
