Job Description

Sales Development Representative (SDR)
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in the sales process by driving lead generation and qualifying prospects. As a key member of our sales team the SDR is responsible for engaging potential customers understanding their needs and nurturing relationships to pave the way for successful sales closures. The position requires a dynamic and motivated individual who can effectively communicate the value of our products and services making positive impressions on leads and generating interest. By conducting indepth research and leveraging different outreach strategies the SDR will contribute significantly to the overall growth of the company. This role requires persistence excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments making it a pivotal position that helps set the stage for increased sales and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and research potential leads through various channels including social media networking and industry events.
  • Conduct cold calls and outreach emails to initiate conversations with potential clients.
  • Qualify leads through effective questioning and assess their needs against our offerings.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team based on lead interest and qualifications.
  • Create and maintain a wellorganized database of potential leads and contacts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand target customers and refine outreach strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure alignment of messaging and promotional strategies.
  • Generate and track daily weekly and monthly lead generation reports.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of industry trends market conditions and competitor activities.
  • Participate in training sessions and sales meetings to enhance performance.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Engage with leads through followup communications to nurture relationships.
  • Utilize CRM tools effectively to document activities and track engagements.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly lead generation targets and contribute to overall sales growth.
  • Adapt to the changing business environment and adopt new tools and techniques as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with online research and leadgeneration techniques.
  • A teamoriented mindset and collaborative spirit.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
