Job Description
Deep Blue Recruitment is partnering with a fastgrowing technologydriven VCbacked businesss that is expanding its legal team.
They are hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to take ownership of legal matters working at the intersection of technology legal and corporate strategy.
Tasks
- Oversee legal matters related to corporate law labor law data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations mitigating legal and business risks proactively.
- Provide legal support on labor and employment matters ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Manage external legal advisors to ensure costeffective highquality legal support.
- Draft review and negotiate a variety of contracts including commercial partnership employment and vendor agreements.
- Provide internal legal training and guidance to teams on regulatory and compliance matters.
Requirements
- 5 years of legal experience in an international and fastpaced environment ideally both in private practice and inhouse
- German Second State Exam (ideally with bar admission)
- Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken)
- Experience advising on complex legal matters in dynamic highgrowth settings
- Proactive and independent with the ability to lead legal strategies with minimal oversight
- Exposure to relevant legal topics (corporate labor law data protection regulatory etc)
