Job Title: Director Business Development (China)
Location: Reside in China (Remote)
The Director of Business Development for China will be responsible for shaping and executing the companys growth strategy in the region. This role will align business objectives with revenue goals ensuring operational excellence and a customerfirst approach.
The Director will lead and develop a highperforming team driving business expansion by identifying market opportunities strengthening client relationships and securing new business. This role will be instrumental in increasing sales and penetrating new markets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in China analyzing market trends to expand the companys presence.
Build and maintain longterm relationships with key clients and partners negotiating contracts and securing major deals.
Manage and support reseller and agent activities providing necessary training and guidance.
Develop and implement a business development strategy to drive revenue and market share growth.
Oversee regional team performance providing strategic direction and coaching.
Maintain CRM systems for accurate sales forecasting and reporting.
Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Negotiate agreements and collaborate with partner institutions on academic programs marketing and enrollment initiatives.
Conduct virtual and inperson sessions with students and parents supporting student progress and engagement.
Regularly visit partner schools to ensure satisfaction and program success.
Engage in communitybuilding initiatives and monitor competitor activities to adjust market strategies accordingly.
Identify areas for improvement and work with crossfunctional teams to address operational challenges.
Support the sales team in generating leads and closing deals to exceed performance targets.
Work closely with product marketing and operations teams to enhance service offerings and align strategies.
Manage regional sales budgets and provide leadership with regular updates and forecasts.
Bachelors degree required; preference for graduates from U.S. universities; Masters degree preferred.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; must reside in China.
Extensive experience in selling academic programs to schools in China.
Strong knowledge of online K12 education international curriculum models and global university admissions processes.
Excellent relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills.
Experience using CRM tools and conducting sales forecasting.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategies for revenue and market growth.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience in team management and crossfunctional collaboration.
Ability to manage sales budgets and report to senior leadership.
