We are partnering with Sancta Maria International School a highly regarded coeducational day and boarding school located in Faridabad part of the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). Sancta Maria is seeking a committed and experienced English High School Teacher to teach students in Grades 6 10 under the Cambridge curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a progressive internationallyminded school that values creativity inquiry and student engagement.
Curriculum Delivery:
Teach English language and literature to students in Grades 610 using a range of creative studentcentered approaches aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
Lesson Planning & Assessment:
Develop lesson plans schemes of work and assessments that encourage academic growth and prepare students for Cambridge examinations.
Language Skill Development:
Foster students reading writing speaking and listening skills while promoting analytical thinking creativity and appreciation of global literature.
Inclusive Instruction:
Use differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and ensure that all students are challenged appropriately.
Student Support:
Provide mentorship academic guidance and regular feedback to students. Work in partnership with pastoral teams and parents to support student success.
Collaborative Practice:
Contribute to departmental planning share resources and collaborate with colleagues across subjects on interdisciplinary units and cocurricular projects.
Classroom Environment:
Establish a safe respectful and stimulating classroom climate where learners feel empowered and valued.
Boarding and School Life:
(If applicable) Support the boarding program and participate actively in school events clubs and enrichment opportunities.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning and reflective practice participating in professional development programs offered by the school.
Masters Degree in English (M.A. English) required
2 3 years of relevant teaching experience ideally in a Cambridge or IB setting
Excellent communication skills in English
