Role Overview:

Sancta Maria is seeking an experienced and committed Diploma Programme Coordinator (DPC) who will also teach Theory of Knowledge (TOK) within the IBDP. This is a leadership and teaching role suited to someone deeply familiar with the IB philosophy and capable of guiding both students and staff through the rigours of the diploma programme.

Key Responsibilities:

As Diploma Programme Coordinator (DPC):

• Oversee all aspects of the IB Diploma Programme in alignment with IB standards and practices
• Lead curriculum planning policy implementation and ongoing evaluation of the IBDP
• Support teachers in curriculum development unit planning and assessment design
• Coordinate registration timetabling examination logistics and internal assessments
• Serve as the key point of contact with the IB ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting
• Guide students and parents through subject choices academic expectations and university readiness
• Facilitate professional development and IB training workshops for faculty

As Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Instructor:

• Teach TOK to DP students guiding them through conceptual inquiry and realworld applications
• Encourage students to explore different ways of knowing and areas of knowledge
• Support students with TOK exhibitions and essays offering timely and constructive feedback
• Create a classroom culture that promotes reflection dialogue and intellectual risktaking

Candidate Profile:

• Masters Degree in a relevant academic field required
• Teacher Qualification
• Prior experience teaching TOK and coordinating the IBDP strongly preferred
• Formal training or certification in the IB Diploma Programme required
• Deep understanding of IB philosophy TOK curriculum and global education trends
• Strong organisational leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Commitment to studentcentred learning and academic excellence
